Sugar Waxing

Sugar waxing is an ancient method of hair removal dating back to Egyptian times. This method uses a paste made out of sugar, water and lemon juice that is a taffy-like consistency. Sugar waxing is unique in that you apply the sugar paste in the opposite direction of hair growth, and remove it in the direction of hair growth. This is the opposite of traditional wax. Removing hair in the direction that it grows results in less hair breakage, minimal pain, and less ingrown hairs. Sugaring is much more environmentally friendly, the sugar paste is biodegradeable, and it is the best all-natural waxing option available.
